Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Back Office / Supply Chain Admin to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining inventory control, overseeing purchasing activities, and ensuring efficient shipping processes. You will play a key role in managing data entry tasks and supporting general office management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust inventory levels as necessary.
- Communicate with suppliers for any new items that need to be added to inventory.
- Enter Internal Requisitions and Purchase Orders into the system.
- Monitor receipt of goods and address any discrepancies with vendors.
- Manage and order office, warehouse, and shop supplies.
- Control incoming international shipments and understand customs processes.
- Learn and manage the shipping process and label creation for FedEx and UPS.
- Handle packing slip management.
- Enter Purchase Orders, invoices, and receipts into the system.
- Make travel arrangements and coordinate with service providers.
- Organize service provider visits and manage service contracts.
- Hands-on experience with inventory management in an ERP system.
- Ability to create and manage Internal Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
- Experience in receiving goods, reconciling packing slips, and resolving discrepancies.
- Strong data entry skills related to POs, invoices, inventory adjustments, and receipts.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of international shipping processes, customs, and freight forwarders.
- Experience in creating shipping labels for FedEx or UPS.
- Prior experience in purchasing or supply chain administration.
- Experience managing vendor and service provider relationships.
- Proficient computer skills, preferably with some ERP experience.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and excellent time management skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible and willing to take on different responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Must have reliable transportation.
