Responsibilities
- Verify, process, and ensure timely and accurate vendor invoice handling.
- Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Enter and code invoices into Sage Intacct in accordance with company accounting policies.
- Process weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor records, including W-9 documentation and banking information.
- Respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, and accruals.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper approval and coding of expenses.
- Utilize Salesforce to review customer and project information as needed for invoice verification and reporting.
- Support external audits by providing requested documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and accounts payable workflow enhancements.
- Proficiency in accounts payable processes
- Experience with invoice processing and data entry
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct and Salesforce
- Strong ability to match invoices to purchase orders
- Knowledge of processing payment runs and reconciling vendor statements
- Experience with process improvement initiatives
- Ability to support audits and provide documentation
- Familiarity with maintaining vendor records
