Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to manage and oversee software quality assurance activities across multiple applications and projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in manual and automation testing, test strategy planning, defect management, team coordination, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead QA team members across Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT testing activities

• Define test strategies, test plans, test cases, and testing schedules

• Coordinate testing efforts and ensure timely delivery within project timelines

• Review business and technical requirements to ensure complete test coverage

• Manage defect tracking, defect triage meetings, root cause analysis, and resolution validation

• Perform hands-on manual and automation testing when required

• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Business teams to resolve issues effectively

• Prepare QA status reports, metrics, and test execution summaries for stakeholders

• Support production releases, smoke testing, and post-deployment validations

• Mentor junior QA team members and provide technical guidance

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing

• Experience in Utility domain and Oracle CC&B

• Expertise in SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies

• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM

• Strong API Testing experience using Postman or SOAP UI

• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools

• SQL and database validation testing experience

• Experience in Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, and UAT testing

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

• Experience leading QA teams and coordinating offshore/onshore resources

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments

• Knowledge of JMeter or LoadRunner

• Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS/Azure)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 10 years of QA/Testing experience

• 3 years of QA Lead experience
