Requirements

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financials and providing insight for the company as it scales. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to be hands on through all aspects of the accounting cycle - working closely with the Controller to establish and maintain a strong accounting foundation for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and input entries into the accounting system
• Reconcile bank and GL accounts
• Complete monthly close and maintain all documentation
• Assist with audit, tax, and reporting requests
• Support and serve as backup for AP
• Analyze financial statements to provide month over month commentary on variances
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain efficient processes and accurate data
• Assist Controller and CFO with projects as necessary
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Strong desire to grow and learn
• Team player
• Familiarity with fraud prevention and financial controls
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• High level of discretion in handling sensitive financial information
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the accounting industry and with accounting systems a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
