This position is part-time: 48 hours per biweekly pay period, 12-hour night shifts, with every 3rd holiday and weekend rotation schedule. Some responsibilities of the Inpatient RN include, but are not limited to the following:
- Uses and documents the nursing process to provide individualized patient-focused care from admission to discharge
- Coordinates the nursing plan of care with the medical plan of care in the development and implementation of the Patient Care Plan
- Assists the physician with rounds, physical examinations and procedures
- Maintains updated age-specific competencies for infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
- Performs patient care activities to provide for the physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs of the patient/family
- Safely administers treatments and medications
Education and experience required:
- Current licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota
- Maintain active BLS Certification
