Fulfillment Manager

ASTA RESORT is a fast growing contemporary resort wear brand known for its artisan craft — hand-beading, hand-crochet, and paillette yarn. The brand operates boutiques in Paddington, Sydney and SoHo, New York, alongside a growing global e-commerce and wholesale presence. We are building a world-class operations team to support our continued US expansion.

Our Brooklyn warehouse in South Williamsburg is the fulfillment hub for all US and International direct-to-consumer and wholesale shipments. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role at the heart of how our product reaches our customers.

We are looking for a reliable, organised, and detail-focused Fulfillment Manager to join our Brooklyn warehouse team. You will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, pick/pack, and dispatch of ASTA RESORT product, ensuring every order leaves our warehouse in perfect condition and on time.

This is a full-time, on-site role reporting to the COO, with day-to-day operational oversight as the warehouse team grows.

Inbound & Receiving

• Receive and unpack inbound stock shipments from our international manufacturers
• Verify delivery quantities against purchase orders and flag discrepancies promptly
• Process stock into inventory management systems (ShipStation / ApparelMagic ERP) accurately
• Apply labels, RFID tags, and barcodes per SKU requirements

Warehousing & Inventory

• Store product in accordance with the warehouse layout and ABC inventory classification system
• Maintain accurate bin locations and ensure stock is stored safely on industrial shelving
• Participate in regular cycle counts and annual stock takes
• Identify and report damaged, mislabelled, or missing units

Outbound & Fulfilment

• Pick and pack DTC orders (Shopify) and wholesale orders with accuracy and care
• Pack product to ASTA RESORT presentation standards — tissue wrapping, brand packaging
• Print shipping labels and process carrier bookings via ShipStation (DHL, UPS, USPS)
• Meet daily outbound SLAs for DTC same-day or next-day dispatch

General Warehouse Operations

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment at all times
• Manage packing consumables and flag when supplies need replenishing
• Assist with returns processing, stock audits, and ad hoc warehouse projects
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Essential

• 2 years experience in a warehouse, storeman, or fulfilment role
• Strong attention to detail — you count twice and ship once
• Comfortable using warehouse management or shipping software (ShipStation, or similar)
• Able to operate a pallet jack / hand truck
• Experience wrapping and preparing pallets for dispatch
• Physically fit and able to lift and move boxes up to 25kg
• Reliable, punctual, and self-directed — you take ownership of your area
• Eligible to work in the United States

Desirable

• Experience in fashion, apparel, or retail fulfilment
• Familiarity with wholesale packing requirements (EDI compliance, routing guides, GS1 barcodes)
• Experience with inventory management systems (ApparelMagic or similar ERP)

• Full-time permanent position, Monday–Friday
