The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for inventory management and equipment coordination. This role will involve collaborating closely with the client to ensure seamless operations and efficient management of hardware resources.
Job Title: Technical Support Specialist (Part Time - 20 hours / Week)
Location: Rockville, MD (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting an inventory sweep of current equipment within the clients departments.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of all hardware assets.
- Collaborating with relevant departments to identify hardware replacement needs and priorities.
- Coordinating technical support for onboarding and offboarding processes for department employees.
- Managing work orders related to tech support requests.
- Overseeing hoteling space equipment to ensure availability and functionality.
- Managing onsite excess inventory of computer and telecom equipment efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical support roles, preferably in inventory management and equipment coordination.
- Strong understanding of hardware systems and configurations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
