Overview

Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Officer specializing in Foot Patrol! In this vital role, you will be the frontline guardian ensuring the safety and security of our premises through proactive patrols and vigilant observation. Your energetic presence will help deter threats, manage incidents, and uphold a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Duties

• Conduct regular foot patrols throughout designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Observe and report any unusual behaviors, security breaches, or safety concerns promptly and accurately
• Write detailed incident reports to document occurrences, actions taken, and follow-up recommendations
• Operate access control systems to verify authorized entry and exit of personnel and visitors
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations following established procedures, including providing first aid or CPR if needed
• Perform background checks on individuals when required to ensure compliance with security protocols
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully and maintain a safe environment

Skills

• Strong surveillance skills with the ability to observe keenly and identify potential threats
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, incident report writing, and emergency response protocols
• Experience with security equipment such as access control systems, CCTV cameras, and alarm systems
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for safety or operational needs
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with the public and staff
• Familiarity with physical security practices, fire safety measures, and compliance with security regulations
• Effective conflict management skills to handle tense situations calmly and effectively

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Experience:

• foot patrol : 1 year (Required)
• Conducting Checkpoint Scans while patrolling: 1 year (Required)
