LIVE-IN CNA / CAREGIVER - RHODE ISLAND
Pay
$16.94 per paid hour, plus applicable overtime
13 paid working hours per live-in day ($281.93 average daily earnings)
Up to $3,947.02 before taxes in a biweekly pay period when working a 7-day schedule

Rhode Island (Client homes throughout Kent, Providence, and Washington/South Counties)
Schedule and Employment Type
Full-Time or Part-Time (Agreed-upon live-in rotation schedules; requires 8 consecutive hours of sleep time and 3 hours of break time daily)

We are seeking dependable, compassionate Live-In Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who thrive in an independent home environment. What You’ll Do
As a Live-In CNA Care Professional, you will reside in the client's Rhode Island home for your agreed-upon rotation, providing continuous personal care and support while maintaining professional boundaries and promoting client independence.
Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
Support mobility, safe transfers, walking, and prescribed gentle exercises.
Prepare nutritious meals, encourage proper hydration, and handle light housekeeping and laundry to keep the home safe and clean.
Provide timely medication reminders and engaging companionship.
Follow individualized care plans closely and maintain accurate daily documentation.
Observe and communicate changes in physical condition or behavior promptly to the ASQ clinical team.
Record all completed duties, as well as any interrupted break or sleep time spent assisting the client, to ensure accurate pay.
Qualifications
Active Rhode Island CNA license (Required; RI applicants must satisfy Rhode Island CNA licensing requirements before working independently with clients).
Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance (Required).
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Basic technology skills for completing required daily shift documentation on a mobile device.
Ability to work independently, manage daily routines, and adapt calmly to changing client needs.
Ability to satisfy all background checks, health screenings, and onboarding requirements.

Understanding Live-In Schedule & Compensation
Daily Structure: Each 24-hour live-in day includes 13 paid working hours, 3 unpaid break hours, and 8 unpaid sleep hours.
Overtime & Interruptions: You are not automatically paid for 24 hours. However, if your continuous 8-hour sleep period or scheduled break is interrupted to assist the client, that time is recorded and fully paid.
Commitment: Candidates must be able to complete their full agreed-upon shift rotation (full-time multi-day schedules or part-time weekend schedules).
