Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will possess a current state license as a Mammography Technician and have at least 2 years of recent experience in this field.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mammography procedures using specialized equipment and technology. This will include:
- Conducting routine and diagnostic mammography exams
- Preparing patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning them correctly
- Operating and maintaining mammography equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Developing and processing images to aid in diagnosis
Requirements
To be considered for this position, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Current state license as a Mammography Technician
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
