Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for ensuring that services are provided in accordance with the standards established by various local, state and federal regulatory organizations.
- Ensures quality, comprehensive and person-centered services are being provided to the individuals who reside in the homes.
- Determines appropriate numbers of staff and implementing policies and procedures needed to maintain staff.
- Administering personnel policies, identifying training needs and assuring that all staff meet job expectations.
- Providing initial and recurrent training to Direct Support Professionals.
- Evaluates the performance of House Managers and Direct Support Professionals.
- Responsible for supervising quality control by visiting supported living homes to support effectiveness, compliance and ensuring a positive quality of life
- Assists in crisis situations. Will be trained in client de-escalation techniques.
Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3 years equivalent work experience
- Prefer exposure to developmental disabilities environment, not required
Licenses, Certification, and Registrations
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Valid Automobile Insurance
- Reliable transportation to travel to homes, meetings, appointments, etc.
