Key Responsibilities
1. Scheduling & Care Coordination
- Create, maintain, and adjust caregiver schedules based on client needs, caregiver availability, skills, and location.
- Ensure all shifts, including callouts, open cases, and emergencies, are filled promptly and appropriately.
- Communicate schedule updates, open shifts, and changes to caregivers and clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor daily clock-ins and clock-outs and assist with time and attendance tracking in compliance with agency policies.
- Document and report caregiver callouts, no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, and assignment refusals.
- Maintain accurate caregiver availability records and scheduling documentation.
- Support caregiver retention by identifying scheduling challenges and collaborating with leadership on solutions.
- On call responsibilities on a rotating basis
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using scheduling systems (WellSky, AxisCare, HHAeXchange, or similar) preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and remain composed in fast-paced situations with the ability to re-work schedules as changes occur.
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare administration, and scheduling preferred.
