Overview: We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead our team at our PHP and IOP drug recovery center. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the clinical program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and managing the daily operations of the facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in substance abuse treatment, strong leadership and management skills, and a commitment to providing evidence-based treatment and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the clinical treatment team, including licensed substance abuse professionals
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols and standards of care, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards
- Oversee the daily operations of the facility, including scheduling of staff, management of patient flow, and management of resources and equipment
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, monitoring treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction, and implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including healthcare providers, insurance companies, and community organizations
- Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to promote the program and expand access to care
- Participate in strategic planning and program development initiatives, identifying opportunities to expand and enhance services
- Collaborate with members of the leadership team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities
- Focus on client communication, touch points, check in to ensure retention
- Support intake activities
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field required; Doctorate degree preferred
- Licensed in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist (LP) preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in substance abuse treatment, including leadership and management experience
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment protocols and standards of care for substance use disorders and related issues
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff, build relationships with stakeholders, and drive results
- Strong financial management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make strategic decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, staff, and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing substance abuse treatment and related issues, including HIPAA and other applicable laws and regulations
