What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Engineer position at Assure Infusions?
About the Role:
Assure Infusions is building something big — a state-of-the-art sterile manufacturing facility producing critical IV solutions. We need a hands-on Maintenance Engineer who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and knows how to keep complex systems running at peak performance. This is not a “sit back and wait for breakdowns” type of job. We’re looking for someone who can anticipate problems, engineer solutions, and drive continuous improvement across our operation.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the reliability and performance of production and facility equipment in a sterile manufacturing environment.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis on automation, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Develop and execute preventive & predictive maintenance programs that minimize downtime.
- Support capital projects — from design through commissioning — ensuring equipment installs meet performance and compliance standards.
- Partner with operations, engineering, and quality teams to implement process improvements.
- Train and mentor technicians, raising the technical capability of the maintenance team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of maintenance engineering experience in manufacturing (pharma/sterile environment preferred).
- Strong background with automation & controls, PLCs, SCADA, robotics, and vision systems.
- Solid mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of GMP/cGMP practices.
- A problem-solver mindset with proven results in improving uptime, throughput, and cost savings.
- Six Sigma or Lean background a plus.
Why Join Us:
- Be part of a ground-floor opportunity in a company that is scaling rapidly.
- Work with cutting-edge technology in a brand-new sterile manufacturing facility.
- Competitive pay ($90k–$110k) plus benefits.
- Direct impact: Your ideas and solutions won’t get buried — they’ll drive the growth of our operation.
This role is for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, take ownership, and build systems that last. If you’re ready to make a measurable impact in a critical industry, we want to talk to you.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
