What You'll Do
As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will:
- Design, develop, and test embedded software in C/C
- Support the integration and verification of hardware and software systems
- Participate in system debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Support products through development, production, testing, and operational deployment
- Learn industry best practices for developing reliable software for mission-critical applications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with C/C programming through coursework, internships, research projects, or professional experience
- Exposure to embedded systems, microcontrollers, or Linux development environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:
- Embedded Linux development
- ARM-based processors or microcontrollers
- GNU development tools
- Real-time software development
- Test development and data manipulation using Python
- git or similar software configuration management (CM) tools
- Embedded build systems (e.g. yocto, buildroot)
- Debugging tools such as GDB, JTAG, or logic analyzers
- Senior design projects, internships, research experience, or personal embedded systems projects
- Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible to obtain a Top-Secret U.S. Government security clearance.
