Assurance Technologies is a low voltage contractor based in Minneapolis. IBEW affiliated & minority owned. We preform service & installation projects across Minnesota & Wisconsin. Established in 2015 we operate in the multi-family, government, retail, & commercial sectors. ATI is a Mircom dealer, that is the primary line we install. We also install the most typical lines in the industry.

About The Position
As a Project Manager, you will provide overall administrative and technical direction for fire alarm, access control & CCTV projects. You will provide technical and management support as required by the projects. Our Project Managers play a key role in having overall bottom-line responsibility for profit and loss and consequently carry the authority appropriately.

Day to day:
- Oversee total construction and design effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with spec, code, budget, and schedule.
- Typical working hours would be 8-9 hours a day between 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between both internal and external members on the project including General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents & site leads.
- Authorize and/or approve all project staff transactions including site help, scheduling & documentation.
- Work with AHJ's to obtain permitting.
- Provide directions to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions.
- Review and manage all RFI's, changing order requests & approvals.
- Assists in the implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensures that all OSHA requirements are met.
- Ensure that all company client and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to and interpret the policies.
- Ensure the maintenance of all official project documentation and logs.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of labor agreements and standards specific to projects.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
- You will be in the office 70% of the time & out on sites for the balance for walkthroughs & meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in electrical project management, construction management or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience. Solid project management training and skills. Thorough understanding of the project life cycle.
- Experience and proficiency in using construction software tool (Microsoft 365, Procore, Autodesk) systems that will be required for some divisions or business groups.
- Knowledge of and proficiency with project management tools and techniques, construction methods and materials, estimating & costing. Skills to read, interpret and understand electrical contracts, plans, drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent financial, analytical, and mathematical skills.
- Customer focus, delegation, presentation, and decision-making skills. Strong organizational, critical thinking skills and detail orientation. Demonstrated high level of integrity and dependability.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Effective independent problem solving, negotiation, time management and prioritization skills.
- Collaboration, coaching, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with diverse work teams. Working knowledge of collective bargaining agreements.
- Work experience with continuous improvement methodologies and/or similar applications. Strong process orientation.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
