Position: Weekend Receptionist
Shifts: Days FT - 8:30 am - 4 pm or PT weekends 8:30 am - 4 pm

Your Role as Receptionist
As the Weekend Receptionist, you will:
- Welcome Visitors & Patients: Greet and direct visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Manage Calls: Operate a multi-line phone system to answer, transfer, and relay calls promptly.
- Support Hospital Operations: Page staff as needed, assist with patient registration, and maintain accurate records.
- Respond Calmly: Assist during emergencies or “code” situations by following established procedures.
- Ensure Confidentiality: Handle patient information with the highest level of privacy and care.
- Be a Team Player: Support nursing, medical staff, and other departments with administrative needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous reception, switchboard, or customer service experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Professionalism: Calm, courteous, and reliable under pressure.
- Healthcare Interest: A passion for working in a hospital environment and supporting quality patient care.
