We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Audit Associate with at least 1 year of public accounting experience to join our assurance team. This position operates as part of a US East Coast-based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration. We offer flexibility in managing your schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance while meeting business needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the performance of audit, review, and compilation procedures under supervision.
- Prepare workpapers and documentation that support audit conclusions.
- Learn to apply accounting and auditing principles to real-world scenarios.
- Participate in internal and external meetings with clients and team members.
- Assist in gathering and organizing client data and supporting documentation.
- Stay current on changes in accounting and auditing standards and firm procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 3.0 GPA or higher in major preferred
- Understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
- CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam (preferred but not required)
- Minimum of 1 year of public accounting or audit experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to audit software is a plus (Case Ware & Idea)
