NJDOE Teacher of Health and Physical Education #1605 Certification Required
EFFECTIVE: 2026-2027 School Year
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate (CE, CEAS, Provisional, or Standard) with Teacher of Health and Physical Education Endorsement (1605);
- Demonstrated knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards in subject specialty and effective teaching methods;
- Willingness to work with students at all levels in a gym and classroom setting;
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
REPORTS TO: Principal
SALARY RANGE: $69,710 - 96,960
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10-month position
