This is a 3-day/week, long-term teaching position (24 hr/week). Flexible on the days. Teaching grades 3-6 from the end of Sept. 2026 to Dec. 18, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in alignment with music curriculum and standards
- Create a safe, organized classroom environment that encourages a love of learning.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Supervise students and promote positive behavior in accordance with school policies.
- Comply with all areas addressed in the policies of the Diocese of La Crosse.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Meets substitute teacher qualifications and pass background check.
- Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Assumption Catholic Schools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
