Overview
Assumption Catholic Schools is seeking a dedicated educator to join our middle school teaching team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with middle school students, creating an engaging learning environment, and supporting the academic, social, and spiritual growth of each student.
This position will include teaching middle school science, with the possibility of additional teaching responsibilities based on the candidate's qualifications and the needs of the school. We welcome applicants with a variety of teaching backgrounds who are excited about working with students in grades 7–8.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum standards.
- Teach middle school science and potentially other subject areas based on qualifications and school needs.
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes student engagement, respect, and academic success.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to support student learning and school initiatives.
- Support the mission and Catholic identity of Assumption Catholic Schools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Wisconsin teaching license preferred; candidates with alternative pathways to licensure are encouraged to inquire.
- Experience teaching or working with middle school students preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to teach science and potentially additional middle school subjects.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
