Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in required subject areas.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies, including small-group and individualized instruction.
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong study skills.
• Create a safe, organized classroom environment that encourages a love of learning.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Prepare for and participate in parent conferences and collaborative meetings.
• Support students’ spiritual development and model Catholic values.
• Supervise students and promote positive behavior in accordance with school policies.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school committees.
• Comply with all areas addressed in the contract and policies of the Diocese of La Crosse.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching license.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Assumption Catholic Schools.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
