Are you passionate about education and dedicated to nurturing the Catholic faith in young minds? Assumption High School, an affiliate of Scott County Catholic Schools (SCCS), is seeking faith-centered, hard-working, caring, enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students.
Due to an increase in enrollment, Assumption High School is seeking to expand its faculty with Iowa Licensed Educators. We encourage applications from educators of all experience levels with licensure in one or more of the following areas: English, Mathematics, All Science, and Spanish.
Multi-discipline certification is attractive to us, but not a requirement for consideration. Opportunities for full and part-time positions exist. Openness to and experience with coaching and/or advising of student clubs is also a plus for interested candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Catholic faith and educational standards.
- Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and promote a sense of community.
- Participate in school events and activities.
- Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and spiritual journey.
Qualifications:
- Valid Iowa Teaching License with appropriate endorsement(s) and approval(s)
- Desire to be an active part of a vibrant, faith-based educational environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Passion for working with students and building relationships
