Position Overview
The Executive Director of Philanthropy for Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) is responsible for directing PAMF's fundraising program, with special emphasis on individual donor cultivation and solicitation, leading campaign strategy, and managing all aspects of the program in a manner aligned with the goals of Sutter Health. This position will serve as a lead fundraiser for PAMF Philanthropy raising $5M annually. This role also serves as the administrative liaison to senior management, medical staff, and Sutter Health leadership, to ensure the smooth and integrated operation of the organizations, and the appropriate alignment of operational strategies with the overall mission and available resources. Externally, the Executive Director represents Sutter Health in the community through various activities, ensuring that the mission and the programs of the entity are accurately understood and conducted. Serves as a catalyst for community collaboration by developing the entity as a resource for the community in improving the health of its residents.
EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Pay Range is $88.29 to $141.27 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
