About the Role
The Client Prospecting Specialist is responsible for identifying, researching, and engaging potential clients to build a strong sales pipeline. This role focuses on outbound and inbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting up opportunities for the sales team. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable initiating conversations with new contacts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients that align with the company’s target customer profile.
- Conduct outbound prospecting through email, phone, social media, and other channels.
- Qualify leads by understanding client needs, challenges, and decision-making criteria.
- Schedule discovery calls or meetings for sales executives or account managers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and targeting strategies.
- Track outreach activity and performance metrics (e.g., response rates, meetings booked).
- Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture interest and move them through the funnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in relevant area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and initiating conversations.
- Ability to research prospects and tailor messaging.
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus.
- Goal-oriented and motivated by results
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with clients and accounts.
