What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer position at Associates Systems LLC?
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with other teams (Integration & Verification, etc.) in the planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing systems for products solving our customer requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or other related degree
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience with C/C and Linux

- Shell scripting experience
- Python experience
- Java development
- Agile development experience
- Configuration management for software, e.g. GIT
- Full software development lifecycle experience
- Software peer review process
- Software development environment experience
- Experience working in teams to develop SW and troubleshoot SW to find/fix defects
- Experience in the development of User Interface, process control, and/or algorithms
- Knowledge of the Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) and/or SBIRS architecture a bonus
- Willingness to support requirement development and decomposition
- Experience working with remote teams
