Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logistics / Configuration Management Specialist with expertise in Navy systems and configuration management practices. The successful candidate will leverage their experience with CDMD-OA and DECKPLATE to ensure data integrity, maintain configuration baselines, and support logistics readiness across Navy programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform configuration management activities in support of Navy systems.

• Utilize Configuration Data Manager – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and MBPS’s DECKPLATE for data management and reporting.

• Pull and analyze Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Conduct configuration audits to validate system baselines.

• Provide technical expertise in logistics and configuration documentation.

• Support program teams by ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and resolution of configuration issues.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship (mandatory).

• Eligible for a DoD Secret clearance.

• Minimum of 5 years of logistics experience, with at least 5 years focused on configuration management for Navy systems.

• Hands-on experience with CDMD-OA and DECKPLATE.

• Proven ability to pull and manage Bills of Material (BOMs).

• Experience performing configuration audits and managing configuration baselines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Navy logistics processes and systems.

• Familiarity with other configuration management tools and databases.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
