What You'll Do
- Escort students safely between classrooms and designated therapy areas according to established schedules.
- Maintain a calm, respectful, and supportive demeanor while interacting with students of varying ages and abilities.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, therapists, office staff, and other school personnel regarding student pick-up and return times.
- Verify student identities and follow school procedures for student transitions.
- Assist students with navigating hallways while promoting safety and appropriate behavior.
- Notify therapy staff and school personnel of scheduling conflicts, student absences, or other concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information in accordance with HIPAA and district policies.
- Document student transitions or attendance as required by school or therapy program procedures.
- Follow all school safety protocols, emergency procedures, and visitor policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Frequent walking throughout the school building.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move between classrooms and therapy locations throughout the workday.
- Ability to assist students during transitions while following safety procedures.
