Medical Biller

We are in search of an experienced Medical Biller for our busy family practice. We also have a variety of specialists that come to our office, some specialist knowledge is helpful, but training would be provided. We use Aprima for our EHR and billing software, familiarity is helpful but not required. Training is provided for our software by our lead biller.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

-preparing superbills for clean claim submission

-posting insurance and patient payments and ensuring balancing

-reworking rejected claims for payment

-monitoring and working A/R

-insurance verification

-assisting patients with questions either by phone or in person as required

-process credit card payments received by mail and phone

-processing delinquent claims prior to timely filing deadlines

We are primarily a family practice office, but we are also multi-specialty. We have a variety of specialists at our location weekly to accommodate our patients and also provide better continuity of care. We perform xrays on site and also offer echocardiograms, ultrasounds and dopplers appointments on a weekly basis.
