Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, providing both individual and group therapy. The Psychologist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
- practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychotherapy.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, including those with PTSD, autism, addiction issues, or disabilities.
- Engage in crisis intervention as needed to support patients in acute distress.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Supervise interns or junior staff members as required, fostering their professional development.
- Participate in research initiatives to advance the field of psychology and improve treatment outcomes.
- Deliver telehealth services to accommodate patients' needs for remote access to care.
Qualifications
- Doctoral or Masters degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure to practice psychology or in the process of needing supervision.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and mental health counseling techniques.
- Proficiency in psychological testing and intake procedures.
- Strong understanding of crisis intervention strategies and patient assessment methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
