What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician (Water Well Systems) position at Associated Well Services, Inc.?
Full-time (50 hrs) | On-call: 1 week/month
Training: 4 to 6 weeks paid training in Stephenville, TX (lodging covered)
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain water well systems (pumps, piping, controls)
- Run service calls, preventative maintenance, and minimize downtime
- Communicate with customers and document work clearly (service reports, parts, notes)
- Help train and mentor newer techs
- Support job closeout and collections when work is completed
- Follow OSHA and applicable local regulations
Requirements
- Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience (water well/pump service preferred)
- Strong tool and diagnostic skills, able to read basic technical docs
- Strong communication and documentation habits
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to perform physical field work
- 21 required (company vehicle insurance requirements)
Preferred (Not Required)
- CDL preferred
- Water well/pump experience (pressure tanks, VFDs, controls, etc.)
