Walled Lake Veterinary Hospital is excited to add a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR to join our fun-loving, team-oriented practice where flexibility, collaboration and high-quality medicine go hand in hand. We are a multi-doctor, dual-hospital, small animal/exotic hospital with a sister location in South Lyon. Our team is happy-go-lucky, supportive and always ready to help each other out. We believe in work-life balance, flexibility, and teamwork! This role may be asked to support both Walled Lake and South Lyon locations.
Responsibilities:
As a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR at Walled Lake/South Lyon, you will:
- Welcome clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle client inquiries.
- Process payments, manage billing, and maintain accurate client records.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Coordinate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth client communication and patient care.
- Assist with administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the practice.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with veterinary services is a plus but not required.
- Must be available on Saturday
