About the Company
Associated Sign Company (ASC) is an industry leading Sign Company based in Phoenix, Arizona. We design, manufacture, and install custom Signage, Graphics, and Architectural Products across the United States.
About the Role
We are currently expanding and hiring a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a PM at ASC, you will own projects from kickoff to installation. You will work with internal designers and fabrication teams, coordinate field crews, and act as the primary contact for clients, architects, and GCs. Your job is to protect schedule, quality, budget, and client experience at every step. This is an in-office, on-the-jobsite role. Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the Phoenix metro area. Not remote.
Responsibilities
- Manage signage projects from concept and design through fabrication, permitting, and installation.
- Conduct job site surveys and coordinate with Clients.
- Build and maintain schedules, anticipate constraints and adjust proactively.
- Track budgets, change orders, and material timelines.
- Prepare, submit, and secure sign permits.
- Run project meetings, document action items, and hold stakeholders accountable.
- Coordinate with subcontractors when needed (installers, electrical, specialty trades).
- Resolve issues in real time (field conditions, design revisions, and approvals).
- Communicate clearly and consistently with clients, designers, and internal production.
- Drive projects to completion while maintaining ASC quality standards.
Qualifications
- 2 years of project management experience preferred in construction, signage, architectural products, fabrication, or similar.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational discipline (schedules, notes, and follow-ups).
- Excellent communication: confident with clients, trades, vendors, and internal teams.
- Attention to Details (Most important)
- Problem solver who is calm under pressure.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.
- A builder’s mindset. Someone who enjoys the process of turning drawings into real installations.
- Ability to manage multiple active projects at once.
- Signage Industry experience is a plus but not required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 2 years of project management experience preferred in construction, signage, architectural products, fabrication, or similar.
- Experience using AI applications in design and manufacturing
