Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Hialeah, FL. The Shop Foreman will oversee daily operations in the production facility, manage and supervise a team of skilled workers, and ensure the quality and timeliness of visual display and custom fabrication projects. Responsibilities include assigning tasks, monitoring project progress, maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring safety standards, and collaborating with design and production teams to meet client specifications. The Shop Foreman will also manage maintenance activities and provide leadership to foster a productive and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory and team management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate a diverse team.
- Proficiency in managing and operating Heavy Equipment and tools used in fabrication and installation.
- Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Expertise in Carpentry and custom fabrication techniques.
- Experience in Maintenance of equipment and tools to ensure optimal functionality.
- Ability to prioritize safety and adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the visual display, custom fabrication, or large-scale production industry is a plus.
- Previous experience implementing six-sigma, TQM or similar practices is a huge plus.
Salary : $58,000 - $68,000
