Duties
- Conduct detailed diagnostic evaluations of patients’ hearing using specialized testing techniques
- Fit, program, and fine-tune hearing instruments tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring optimal performance and comfort.
- Provide counseling on hearing health, device usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills by managing multiple appointments, follow-ups, and inventory of hearing devices effectively.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Audiology with audiology certification; Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) preferred.
- Proven experience in clinical audiology practice with knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with healthcare diagnosis processes related to otolaryngology (ENT) conditions.
- Proficiency in patient management software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and computer skills essential for documentation and reporting.
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and specialized testing procedures relevant to audiology.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
