Job Details
- Assignment Length: 16 weeks
- Pay Rate: $54.54 per hour
- Shift Length: 8-hour shifts
- Available Shifts: Day, Evening, and NOC
- Schedule Requirements: Rotating weekends and holidays required
Locations
- Sylmar, CA
- CVK – Malibu, CA
- LP – Downey, CA
Qualifications
- Recent experience within the last 1–2 years in Med-Surg, Emergency Room, Psych, or Correctional Health
- Comfortable performing blood draws, assessments, and triage
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a correctional healthcare setting
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- MAB certification required
- Fire Card required
- Position Summary
The Registered Nurse will provide patient care within a correctional healthcare environment, including assessment, triage, treatment support, documentation, and coordination with facility healthcare staff. Candidates must be dependable, clinically confident, and comfortable working with diverse patient populations in a secure setting.
