- Pharmacists fill prescriptions accurately following all regulations and procedures.
- Respond courteously to inquiries from guests and physicians regarding prescriptions and health products.
- Provide professional consultation in line with state and federal laws.
- Participate in clinical programs and respond to phone requests requiring pharmacist expertise.
- Communicate effectively with peers, management, and guests.
- Implement company policies and maintain compliance with legal standards.
- Manage record-keeping for controlled substances.
- Accept and verify prescription information from guests, ensuring completeness.
- Access and verify patient records in the pharmacy system.
- Order and stock pharmacy products as needed.
- Train pharmacy technicians and provide performance feedback.
- Maintain inventory levels, rotate stock, and manage returns.
- Operate the sales register, process transactions, and maintain cleanliness.
- Adheres to Department Appearance Standards (DAS) and dress code standards; directs pharmacy team in maintaining the professional appearance of the pharmacy.
- Know the location of OTC merchandise and complete inventory reports.
- Monitor third-party profitability and maintain organized pharmacy equipment.
- Attend company meetings and participate in training programs.
- Perform additional duties as requested and uphold standards in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
- Participates in all company sponsored programs.
- Exposure to cleaning and compounding chemicals.
- College degree in Pharmacy (BS or PharmD).
- Pass the NAPLEX and State Law Board exams.
- Hold a valid state license and complete required continuing education.

- Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
- Complete all necessary training programs (e.g., HIPAA, I-pledge).
