Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Apprentice Electrician role based in Ceres, CA. The Apprentice Electrician will support licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Daily responsibilities include assisting with pulling wire, mounting and wiring devices, running conduit, assembling and testing electrical components, and helping ensure all work meets code and safety standards. The role also involves using basic hand and power tools, keeping job sites clean and organized, and preparing materials for upcoming tasks. The apprentice will be expected to follow directions closely, participate in safety meetings, document work as required, and actively develop technical skills through on-the-job learning.
Qualifications
- Foundational understanding of electricity and basic electrical principles, with a strong interest in developing technical skills.
- Ability to assist with electrical work such as installation, wiring, conduit runs, and equipment setup under supervision.
- Skills or aptitude in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting to help identify issues and support corrective actions on electrical systems.
- Familiarity with or interest in electrical engineering concepts as they apply to commercial and industrial environments is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent; enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or trade school is a plus.
- Commitment to working safely, following instructions, and adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, teamwork, and communication skills; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
