Associated Drywall Partners is seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to support daily field operations and help drive productivity, organization, and schedule performance on assigned projects. This is a key support role within our field leadership team, ideal for someone looking to grow their construction management career while working closely with experienced Superintendents and Operations Leadership.
About the Role
While Assistant Superintendents may not carry full project responsibility, they play an essential part in keeping jobsite operations running efficiently and in line with company standards. This role offers strong exposure to field leadership, daily coordination, and hands-on project support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily crew coordination and field operations, including organizing work activities, supporting manpower coordination, monitoring workflow progress, and facilitating communication between crews, subcontractors, and field leadership
- Support material coordination and jobsite logistics, including organizing deliveries, maintaining material staging areas, coordinating equipment movement, and ensuring crews have the resources they need
- Help maintain jobsite safety and quality standards by assisting with enforcement of company safety policies, identifying potential hazards, supporting safety meetings, and monitoring work quality
- Communicate safety concerns, operational issues, or quality deficiencies to the Superintendent in a timely manner
- Support project documentation and reporting, including daily reports, manpower tracking, progress updates, punch list coordination, and general field communication
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or field operations preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a field leadership team
