Associated Distributors is expanding field operations with opportunities to grow. We are hiring a Field Service Representative to establish good working relationships with retailers we serve by placing orders, servicing, cleaning, and selling our products in the assigned territory.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Order products for the retailer by utilizing an electronic hand-held device, or leave behind suggested order
- Work independently to place products accurately with a high quality, clean, visual display
- Establish and maintain rapport with key store individuals while providing outstanding customer service
- Service a store route consisting of approximately 750-1000 driving miles per week
- Update and maintain display assortment with best-selling products for each store
- Acquire new customer accounts in existing territory
- Drive sales by selling promotional displays to existing customers
- Manage store route planning in an efficient manner
- Travel extensively through assigned region
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-year retail experience
- Route sales experience preferred
Territory:
- Pennsylvania, Northeast West Virginia, Northern Virginia, Maryland, Western New York, New Jersey
- 750-1000 miles/week
- 1-3 nights/week
