What are the responsibilities and job description for the Window Installation Apprentice position at Associated Crafts & Willet Hauser?
Do you enjoy traveling? With this job you will be working 3 weeks on the road, traveling from site to site, followed by an entire week off.
NO STAINED GLASS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Can you see yourself, 20 feet in the air standing on an aerial lift with the South Carolina sun setting behind you? Imagine that being your office view. You can smell the salt and feel the cold breeze coming off the ocean. Your team member is below cutting an aluminum bar based on the measurements you gave him as you paint the wooden sashes of the stained glass windows in front of you. Your project manager below yells up to you, “Ready for dinner”. You finish painting the window you are on, operate the lift to the ground, and start cleaning up the jobsite. You return all tools and materials to the van, lock up for the night. You get in the van and look at your project manager, “same place as last night”, as he shakes his head in agreement. You head to the “Best Burger Joint” in town that the priest was adamant you try.
For the last 120 years, Willet Hauser has been pushing the boundaries of stained glass.
