Inside Sales & Customer Service

Associated Compressor & Equipment has been a trusted provider of industrial compressed air systems across California since 1966. For more than 60 years, we have supported manufacturers, agricultural operations, and industrial facilities with reliable equipment and service that keeps their operations running.

We are currently seeking a motivated Inside Sales Account Manager to support our service team by managing relationships with existing customers and helping them maintain reliable, efficient compressed air systems through preventative maintenance and service solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-based sales, problem solving, and working closely with both customers and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through responsive service and consistent communication
• Develop and deliver professional proposals for preventative maintenance and service agreements by partnering with the Service Manager
• Maintain an organized, accurate and current quote pipeline and follow up with customers to understand all the variables that go into their choice of service providers
• Partner with the Service Manager and Outside Sales team to ensure customers receive the right system settings and service solutions
• Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing accounts
• Assist in resolving customer issues or disputes in a professional and solutions-oriented manner to arrive at a fair resolution for both the company and the Customer
• Support collections conversations when needed while maintaining positive customer relationships
• Maintain accurate documentation of quotes, customer interactions, and service opportunities

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or account management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple customer requests and proposals
• Proficiency with standard business software and computer systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in industrial equipment, mechanical services, or a related technical environment
• Experience supporting field sales teams or service organizations

Compensation: Starting pay $28.00 - $32.00
