Duties
- Support the sales team by preparing quotes, pricing, and product recommendations using vendor and manufacturer resources; ensure accuracy and timeliness to help close sales.
- Work closely with the sales team to proactively follow up on open quotes, leads, and customer inquiries to drive conversions; document interactions and next steps in company systems.
- Coordinate order processing from entry through fulfillment, including verifying details, tracking status, resolving issues, and communicating updates to customers, sales and management.
- Research product availability, lead times, and alternatives to support sales opportunities; collaborate with vendors and internal teams to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, project, and sales data in company systems; generate reports and insights to support sales performance and pipeline visibility.
- Assist with customer issue resolution related to orders, pricing discrepancies, modifications and delivery concerns, ensuring a positive experience and repeat business.
- Organize and manage sales-related documentation, including quotes, job files, paperwork and order records, to support efficient operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending best practices. Learn existing systems and support the implementation of new technologies.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the sales team as needed.
- Other duties and project responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven ability in B2B sales, telemarketing, or inside sales roles with a focus on technology or technical products
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms is highly desirable. Experience with Microsoft 365.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiation and customer service within a business environment
- Knowledge of sales techniques including warm calling, outbound calling, and business development strategies - willingness to learn and accept coaching
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn about sales and expand professional skills
