Responsibilities
- Assist in interpreting construction plans and blueprints to understand project specifications and technical drawings.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps to perform tasks like pouring, finishing, cutting, and forming concrete.
- Install rebar, construct formwork, and execute concrete pouring and finishing to ensure structural integrity.
- Perform masonry work including stucco, caulking, tile laying, and metal stud framing to meet project requirements.
- Execute carpentry tasks such as framing, flooring installation, and restoration work while adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for all team members.
- Support in heavy lifting and material handling tasks while maintaining proper safety procedures.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications accurately to ensure work aligns with project goals.
Experience
- Proven experience working on diverse construction projects with a solid understanding of construction site operations.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation is essential.
- Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, cutting, pouring, and related masonry skills.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to follow detailed instructions from construction plans.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations specific to construction workplaces is required.
- Prior experience with metal stud framing, plastering, restoration projects, tile laying, flooring installation, and concrete pumping is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
