Job Overview

We will teach you what you need to know down to the basics of medical billing. This role requires the ability to work effectively while working from home.
Duties
- Review and verify patient information and insurance details for accuracy before billing.
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies using ICD-10.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing.
- Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance representatives and patients regarding billing inquiries.
- Perform medical collections as necessary to ensure timely payment from patients and insurers.
- Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations and coding practices.
Experience
- No medical billing experience is required.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
