Accounting Clerk (3-Month Contract, Onsite in Noblesville, IN)

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a 3-month onsite assignment in Noblesville, IN. This role is ideal for candidates with entry-level accounting experience who can accurately process financial transactions and maintain complete records. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who has experience in:

• Processing of credit memos
• Invoicing
• Cash posting
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Compute, classify, and record numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers, or computer systems.
• Prepare and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial documents in accordance with established procedures.
• Debit, credit, and reconcile accounts using spreadsheets and specialized accounting software.
• Process credit memos, invoicing, and cash posting.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience: 0–2 years of financial or accounting experience.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software.
• Knowledge of legal and company policies related to accounting.
  

Pay Rate: $18/hr
