Accounting Clerk (3-Month Contract, Onsite in Noblesville, IN)
About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a 3-month onsite assignment in Noblesville, IN. This role is ideal for candidates with entry-level accounting experience who can accurately process financial transactions and maintain complete records. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who has experience in:
- Processing of credit memos
- Invoicing
- Cash posting
- Compute, classify, and record numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers, or computer systems.
- Prepare and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial documents in accordance with established procedures.
- Debit, credit, and reconcile accounts using spreadsheets and specialized accounting software.
- Process credit memos, invoicing, and cash posting.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Experience: 0–2 years of financial or accounting experience.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software.
- Knowledge of legal and company policies related to accounting.
