Dental Hygienist

Job Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride, and root planning.
• Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions.
• Customize care to meet patient's oral health.
• Create a welcoming, judgement-free environment for every patient.
• Educate and motivate patients toward better oral and overall health.
• Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed.
• Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards.

Qualifications

• A licensed dental hygienist who is passionate about patient care, education, and practicing at the top of their scope to improve oral health outcomes.
• Either an active state hygiene license or eligibility to become licensed.
• A current CPR certification.
