The Vice President, Shared Services will lead Associa’s Client Shared Services Center, building a high-performing, data-driven organization across accounting operations and related support functions. This leader will strengthen financial controls, modernize processes and systems, and drive measurable improvements in service quality, speed, and cost—while elevating the client and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end finance operations across Client Accounting (R2R, P2P, O2C), cash application, credit/collections, billing, bank reconciliations, and payroll interfaces; set SLAs/OLAs and deliver to target KPIs (close cycle time, DSO, first-pass yield, accuracy, and cost-to-serve).

Uphold GAAP and control excellence: design and maintain a robust internal control framework; lead audit readiness and external audit coordination; ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.

Drive continuous improvement & automation: deploy Lean/CI methods, streamline workflows, standardize policies, and advance ERP/workflow/RPA/BI utilization to simplify service delivery and reduce manual effort.

Lead change with the business: partner with the CFO, Corporate Controller, and functional leaders to identify opportunities, prioritize the portfolio, and execute cross-functional initiatives from strategy through sustainment.

Build a high-performing team: recruit, develop, and mentor leaders; establish clear goals and coaching rhythms; recognize excellence and address performance gaps promptly.

Insights & governance: implement transparent dashboards and operating reviews that translate data into actions; manage vendor/outsourcing partners as needed to meet performance and cost targets.

Client & stakeholder experience: consult on service delivery and performance issues; implement interventions that measurably improve quality, timeliness, and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Active CPA required (or in good standing with ability to transfer); Big 4 or national public accounting experience strongly preferred combined with in-house leadership.

10 years progressive accounting/finance leadership, including 5 years leading a multi-function shared services or global business services environment.
