Clubhouse Staff (Part-Time)
Pay Rate: Starting at $13.00 per hour
Wage Increase: $0.50 per hour annual increase each January
Schedule: 10-15 hours per week
Availability Requirements:
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Occasional daytime shifts may be available
- Availability for at least two of the following holidays each year is expected:
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day (July 4th)
- Labor Day
Position Summary
The Clubhouse Staff team member is responsible for providing a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable experience for residents and guests while ensuring compliance with community rules and regulations. This position assists with the daily operation, maintenance, and monitoring of clubhouse facilities, verifies resident access privileges, and supports community events and activities.
Clubhouse Staff work closely with the Onsite Manager and serve as a primary point of contact for residents and guests using the community amenities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Resident & Guest Services
- Greet residents and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Monitor resident and guest use of clubhouse facilities to ensure compliance with community Rules and Regulations.
- Inform residents and guests of facility policies and procedures as needed.
- Verify access privileges through Association-issued identification cards, guest passes, or other approved methods.
- Maintain visitor and resident sign-in/sign-out records as required.
- Provide excellent customer service and address routine questions regarding clubhouse amenities.
Facility Operations & Event Support
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, events, and community activities.
- Clean and restore event spaces following activities and rentals.
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of clubhouse amenities and common areas.
- Work closely with the Onsite Manager regarding facility needs, maintenance concerns, and resident inquiries.
Facility Cleaning & Maintenance
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of interior and exterior clubhouse areas.
- Clean accessible glass windows and doors.
- Sweep, mop, and polish hard-surface floors.
- Vacuum and spot-clean carpets as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean glass tables and surfaces.
- Arrange furniture and decorations in their proper locations.
- Spot clean walls and other surfaces as necessary.
- Empty trash receptacles and wastebaskets.
- Remove cobwebs and other visible debris.
- Replace accessible light bulbs as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and report supply shortages to the Onsite Manager.
- Report maintenance, safety, structural, or facility concerns promptly.

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous customer service, hospitality, recreation, retail, or community association experience is a plus but not required.
Working Conditions
This position operates in a clubhouse and community environment and involves both indoor and outdoor activities. Regular standing, walking, communicating with residents and guests, and performing light cleaning and event setup duties are required.
