Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and reliable drivers to join our team at My MediRides. As a driver with our company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of our customers to and from their medical appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport customers to and from doctor's appointments, dialysis, physical therapy, pharmacies, or any other medical appointments on time.
- Adhere to federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as PTI's policies and procedures.
- Provide reliable, courteous, and respectful customer service.
- Report to pickups at the required need time and location to ensure passengers timely arrival for appointments.
- Perform a vehicle inspection while refueling vehicle.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding PTI's business secrets and customer information.
- Abide by all Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- A valid state driver's license issued by the state of proposed employment.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the location for which you are applying.
- At least 5 years of verifiable driving experience.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, a 3-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, background check, and driving performance test.
- No physical impairment preventing him or her from driving safely, or from performing the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Able to read, write, and converse in English.
- Able to use a GPS/Technology System, read and understand roadmaps.
- Ability to lift and pull up to 20 pounds.
- Able to climb in and out of the vehicle.
